I suppose however, Dave Haggett, like the late US president, Richard Milhous Nixon will now be able to say 'They won't have me to kick around anymore'.

Rumour has it that Mr Dave Haggett has sold the recently commented about Spar and Butchers for a staggering £1.5million. This amount is said to be a huge great benefit for all the hard work Mr Haggett has put in since taking over the butchers 20 years ago! He apparently is looking to sell the existing londis for close to the £1 million mark too!! Well done.
£1.5 million?????? To paraphrase Frank Butcher - yer havin' a larf, ain't yer?
£1.5 mil is the figure I have heard also. not a bad result in the current climate I would have thought.
yep i was chatting in The Tuns and heard it was a shade under the 1.5 million mark meself. wonder if DJH will now re-open the Londis and put the Spar out of business !
