We are pleased to report that the absailing expedition undertaken by Louise the Lamb barperson at the weekend raised £175.00 for the childrens hospice.
We think that she should perhaps consider some parachute jumping as a future fundraiser.

Congratulations to Louise on surviving her abseiling and raising £175 for the Childrens Hospice. Fantastic ! I do hope she hasn’t been too traumatised by the event.
Now, I don’t want to appear to be overly pessimistic, BUT, I was at a party many years ago, and saw a young lady, about Louise’s age, whose leg was in plaster from ankle to thigh. She was sitting quietly, all by herself, and looking very lonely and fed up.
I asked her how she came to be injured. She looked up at me, with a tear in her eye, and whispered, “I was doing a sponsored parachute jump and I landed in a tree”.
