Possibly the best quote of the travellers furore came last night when someone told me that they had been told that 'Millionaires Row is up in arms over this'.
Given the opinion pf some in the village about some who live on Millionaires Row, I should think that this particular bit of news will do the travellers cause no harm at all.

Putting aside all the ridiculous social judgements, at the end of the day, this is development of a very poorly accessed greenfield site well beyond the village boundaries. Whilst the actual "housing" may be of a temporary nature, the infrastructure planned obviously is not!
I have objected on those grounds, whilst agreeing that whoever sent out the "newsletter" is well out of line.
Thats what the objectors should be concentrating on, plus the matter of access.
The most sensible comment so far, Greensleeves! By the way, speaking as a confused townie, could someone tell me whether a yurt will be classed as a Band C or Band D? And just exactly where do you put your modem in a yurt?
