Quite a long while back, we were told that the devon plag on the flagpole in the village square had been removed and replaced by the cross of St George whilst a bigger devon flag was prepared.
Will we ever get the devon flag back ?.

Does anyone really want it back ? For the life of me, I can't imagine why. It is a piece of made-up PC nonsense - a figment of DCC imagination! It has only been around for a few years - no such flag ever existed when I was young. Burn the bloody thing I say !! I like our St. George's flag - that's a proper flag - a real flag!
Given that the Devon flag was presented to the village with a good deal of publicity, someone might at least tell us if it has been permanently removed, and why.
What about a nice red and black anarchist flag.That would be a change.
