Dog Fouling

I notice that we are now informed by a large metal board on the corner of Fore St and The Square, that because of continuing dog fouling problems in the area, dog wardens are now on patrol.

Any sign of a dog waste bin in the Square yet ?.

Come on mate, don't blame the waste bins, there are plenty around the village (big red things), if you have a dog then it is your duty to clean up after it, personally I'm sick of standing in the dirty stuff. Carry a plastic bag, clean it up and put it in a bin when you pass one or take it home. Another thing I notice, some do clean up after there dogs but throw the bag containing the stuff in places they think won't get noticed, like at the side of the Lamb Inn shed off King st, or dehind the garages.
About time the wardens were around to sort the problem out.

There are plenty of bins around, but none in the centre of the village. If there were there would be even less excuse. I think the PC were looking ionto this.

Beyond the p[oints you make I think its also true that a lot of people dont exercise their dogs enough. I know people have busy lives but a few good walks beyond the village boundasries and there would be less mess to clean up.

Still, I suppose that its better then the old days when horses and cows used the village street daily. I doubt that many would fancy clearing up after a herd of Friesians.
